We know that oats are a rich source of minerals and a comfort food, nourishing to the body and soul! Proper preparation of whole grains will neutralize anti-nutrients naturally found in the outer layer of many whole grains. These anti-nutrients include phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors – known to block zinc, magnesium, copper, and iron vital nutrients we need to make Mama's milk.
Soaking grains is not a new idea! Grandma knew best it's a tradition found around the world. By soaking grains in an acidic medium (lemon juice, buttermilk, liquid whey, yogurt, or apple cider vinegar) you break down the anti-nutrients skyrocketing its digestibility.
