Milk Aplenty

I have been taking Milk Aplenty, Milky Way, and Goat's Rue (a double dose of Goat's Rue) from this company for over two months, under the guidance of my IBCLC. I struggle with low supply and we suspect that one of my breasts has IGT. Unfortunately, I've found the dosage incredibly difficult to nail down.
The Goat's Rue tincture has a dropper that does not fully fill after it's been fully depressed.
The Milk Aplenty bottle has a better dropper that does fill all the way when fully depressed.
The Mikly Way bottle has a dropper that fills all the way when fully depressed - AND it has measurement marks on the dropper! So helpful.
All of their instructions state "take 2 ml 3x daily. 2ml = approximately 40 drops". I counted out 40 drops and it was 1 full dropper full. But the measurements on the Milky Way bottle only go up to 1 ml. I emailed Rumina for some clarification but I never heard back. I got so tired of guessing when measuring out each tincture, which I take 3x daily, so I finally bought an ounce scale that measures to the hundredths. Finally, after two months of taking this supplement, I feel like my supply has been responding the way it always should have! I am able to pump 1-2 ounces more than what has been my usual, for each pump throughout the day. My baby is also satisfied at the breast more often and I'm supplementing less. It's a shame that it took so long to figure out how to obtain accurate dosing for these helpful tinctures. I think that if Rumina sold these as a pour-out tincture with a premeasured cup, instead of relying on inconsistent droppers, more consumers would see a bigger difference. And for what it's worth, I've purchased these supplements many times - from my LC, directly from the Rumina website, and from Amazon. And yes, it's correct, they don't taste well. But, I'm willing to bet that if you're seeking out a tincture to help with your supply, that you've been through worst inconveniences than the taste. I add all 3 doses to a small bit of apple juice and it's not a problem. But, they do make an alcohol free version if that's a turn off for buyers.

My IBCLC recommended this when my supply started to drop and my little one was getting upset. Within 2-3 days of taking, my supply doubled! It does taste absolutely awful so I have to mix it with juice to be able to tolerate it, but it does work! The effects unfortunately wear off once you stop taking it, but if you’re looking for a boost, I would definitely recommend this supplement for sure!

Building a milk supply is a fight with time, and my package was carefully and quickly delivered for me to be able to start building a stronger milk supply early on.

Milk Aplenty

I got my first bottle today, just yesterday i had a clogged duct and my supply went down on the affected side. It's not the best taste but I hope it works. My onky question for now is how do I take it? Can I add it to some water? Maybe oats? Or straight out the bottle?

I really hope this helps me and if I can ill be back in 3 weeks to give an update.
